Steve Gee had plenty of competition.

 

      A 54-year-old professional from Sacramento, Gee outlasted 3,041 other participants to take first in Event 13, a $1,000 no-limit hold’em tournament, of the 2010 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. With the win, he collects his first WSOP bracelet.

      Gee finished 286th in Event 4 of the 2009 WSOP, which paid $2,921.

      Jared Hamby, who was eighth, cashed for the second time this year. The performance gives him ten cashes at the WSOP.

      Overall, 324 players earned money in the event.
